The selection
Building on the success of GEM Report’s rebrand, Abracadabra was selected to carry out the research, naming and branding of their new online tools SCOPE and PEER, formerly known as Education Progress and Education Profiles, as well as the rebranding and architecture for their already known tool WIDE.

The objective
All of the new proposals, both in name and design, had to operate inside the same GEM Report’s family but, at the same time, have their own unique visual identity and color scheme, respecting UNESCO’s values.

The project
The project was divided into three phases. First, a collaborative workshop with GEM Report team members was conducted in order to define the objectives, requirements, scope, audience and opportunities of the project. Subsequently, four word clouds were generated, containing the most important key words that help us in the creation of the proposals for the naming phase.



The development
Finally, we developed the brand architecture for each tool, defined a distinctive color palette for each, selected easy-to-read typefaces and designed all graphic and communication design elements.
