Puebla 485 Guide
4 eras, 85 places to celebrate the city
In order to commemorate Puebla City’s 485th anniversary of its founding, the Municipal Presidency of Puebla released a tour guide that allowed people to discover the most emblematic spots in the city.
For this project, Abracadabra developed both the graphic and editorial design based on four key historical moments that shaped the city: its founding, the Viceroyalty and the nineteenth and the twentieth centuries. 85 places, including historic, religious and popular sites, five iconic figures and eight majestic monuments are compiled in a beautiful hardback edition that celebrate Puebla City.
Drop-down blueprints, unpublished documents and informative texts written by various historians were also included to add more value to the book. The cover depicts the Municipal Palace represented by a photographic camera and it conveys the idea that the tourists experience and discover the city throughout this guide.
